These spirit image photographs are all taken in the blackness of the night... no PhotoShop... no multiple exposures.  Sheer enters the frame of the shot during the lengthy exposure and lights up the camera-facing-side of the models (or himself) to create the spirit figures.  A little moonlight or a small amount of ambient light eventually brings back brightness and color on the negative.  This is performance-art, theater, and nighttime time-lapse photography... no digital!
